We preach the Word
When it comes to what we are and what we offer it’s simple. We offer preaching that is rooted in the Bible and relevant to your daily life. We make no apology for preaching the Word of God. We offer uplifting music, friendly child-care, and a loving church family. Here are just a few things that are most often asked by our church guests.
If you still have another question, just give us a call, or ask someone when you arrive. Whether you're new to the area and looking for a church home, or if it's been a long time since you've attended church at all, we hope your first visit at First Calvary will be wonderful! We exist to serve you and your family, and we are looking forward to meeting you personally. We hope you'll feel right at home from the very first moment you step in our doors! Do you provide a nursery?Yes. We provide a nursery for ages 0 to 3 where you will be greeted by our friendly, professional nursery staff.

How long are the services?Most services last about 1 hour and 15 minutes.

What will happen when I visit for the first time?If you are visiting for the first time, we will not embarrass you, have you stand up, or ask you to give in the offering. We know that many people want to check out the church and “be anonymous” for a while—and that’s fine with us! Come in, enjoy the atmosphere, and see if Hope might not be your future church home.

How should I dress?here is no dress code at First Calvary Baptist Church, for members or guests. Our ministry leaders and many of our church family dress in traditional “Sunday” dress; however, our main goal is that you would feel welcome and comfortable on your visit here at First Calvary!

Am I expected to participate in the offering?No. We don't invite you to First Calvary Baptist Church for your offering. We want our service to be a gift to the Lord and to you. We hope you will find in this place a warm family spirit, truth from God's Word, and a place where you can grow in God's grace. Please don't feel any obligation to participate in the offering as a guest.

What kind of music should I expect to find?We love great music that honors and glorifies God. You will enjoy the exciting way that we worship our Lord through singing at each service. Our songs include both traditional hymns and choruses that honor God in a worshipful way.
